New Year’s Eve-Staying Up Late To Watch the Ball Drop!

Years ago, in another life, my first husband and I were inclined to spend New Years Eve home alone to make love and welcome the new year

Times have changed of course. He’s passed on though always in our hearts and this New Years Eve, daughter, a delightful hostess and in her new house, invited us to enjoy our precious grandest granddaughter, her special love, his fine son and terrific mom to an Italian home cooked dinner. Snow on the ground, lights everywhere, a few Christmas trees in the house, daughter glows with love and happiness. It’s contagious.

  1. Happy new year to you and your family. I wish you all the best for 2013 from Ireland. Still sick here with flu, but things are still moving and looking forward to getting better for us all.

  2. Happy new year Charmaine, what a delightful, serene picture you paint of your new year’s eve. Warm wishes for 2013!

    • Serene is a good word. Serenity, good health and a Happy New Year to you. Thanks for taking the time to comment. If you enjoy reading Romance/Suspense, please check out my books where fictional characters are not always serene but often find peace at The End.
