Taking care of Stray Dogs at the Shelter

A few years ago, these two beauties were best friends. Yesterday, daughter took them to the shelter where she walks caged dogs to help out. The girls jumped in to lather peanut butter on dog biscuits. Friendship revisited. They giggled and beamed, dog lovers, both of them just like my daughter who is a teacher but makes sure the dogs are walked on a daily basis.   1. Ed, your wife is my new best girl friend. We are so involved with cats and dogs, it’s kind of goofy. 4 cats in this little house, no room for beloved pooches. Daughter has two big rescue dogs and grandest plans to be a veterinarian. She’s nine.
